The most effective way to share the gospel is to live it. When we live like desciples of Christ should live, when we aren't just good but happy to be good, other will be drawn to us.

"Saying It Like It Is" Wednesday

Read D&C 138 and Abraham 3 about the Noble and Great Ones, and ask the Lord if those verses have anything to do with YOU. Ask Him to talk to you, through the Spirit, about YOU. When you understand, without equivocation, that you were chosen and reserved for NOW, and when you live in HARMONY with that MISSION and with the PROMISES you made PREMORTALLY, you'll be HAPPIER than you have EVER been before. That is a PROMISE.

I love how she is always taking about our MISSION here and who we were before we came. Sister Beck in almost all the RS Visiting Teaching Messages has been talking about our missions while on the earth, promises we made before we came, and our responsibilities we have here that are only OURS, and how we were taught before we came. I have pondered that for the last few years, and it is my constant prayer to continue to find out my mission and purpose while here for this short time. Many things have been revealed to me through the Spirit. But I have learned that I must be asking in faith, be worthy of the spirit, and really be listening with my spiritual ears. It is amazing all we can learn. I challenge you to read the scriptures above and take Sister Dew's challenge to ask.

Saying It Like It Is

I just love Sheri Dew, and I love her quotes! They inspire me and make me want to be better. I've decided to post an uplifting quote from many of my favorites each Wednesday, and challenge you to do the same. I love reading quotes and finding new ones. I would love to hear what inspires you. I am going to call it Saying It Like It Is Wednesday. Her new book is a must have. I really love her direct approach to the gospel.

I receive the LDS Gems from the church via email each day. Today this one came. I thought it was a wonderful reminder for such a busy world.

Just a Thought

The Sister that came from Gilbert and did our ward 3 Month Supply Presentation has a wonderful blog she does for her ward. It has so many great ideas, and she is a real motivator! She is doing a weekly list of challenges to accomplish. I challenge you to try it! It feels good to be working on it.

Let us relish life as we live it, find joy in the journey, and share our love with friends and family.

If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly.
Stresses in our lives come regardless of our circumstances. We must deal with them the best we can. But we should not let them get in the way of what is most important—and what is most important almost always involves the people around us. Often we assume that they must know how much we love them. But we should never assume; we should let them know. Wrote William Shakespeare, “They do not love that do not show their love.”3 We will never regret the kind words spoken or the affection shown. Rather, our regrets will come if such things are omitted from our relationships with those who mean the most to us.

This is the 9 loads of laundry I just drug out of

my room and decided TODAY was the day to

finally fold them. Jeremy will be glad to know

that we REALLY DO have carpet in our bedroom!!

I am so grateful for a prophet who gives us the council

we need to lift our lives and inspire us to be better and

gives us the perspective we need to accomplish all

we have to do! I love General Conference.
