:: day trip ::

One day we went to work with Jeremy up to another mine for him to give a training.  We played at the parks and enjoyed the library for the day.  Then after work we went up and he showed the kids the pit of the mine.  It was such a great day together and a little getaway for me.  I love to have my kids all together having fun.  I imagine that is how heaven is when we are all able to have our families together again.

He will love me for this one!

The kids were excited beyond words.  It was a beautiful day.  This was a Monday.  By Wednesday we were back to shorts, short-sleeve shirts, and sandals. I am not one for the cold.  I did enjoy the snow for the day knowing it was only for moment.

:: Visiting and making Linda's grave plot beautiful.  It has been 2 years.  We love and miss her so much.  So grateful for a knowledge of our Heavenly Father's Plan for us.

:: Jeremy working hard to finish our from yard landscaping and walk.  He did such a gorgeous job.  It will be wonderful when it rains and we don't walk in the mud anymore.  The entire family worked on this project together.  We all lifted and carried the rocks and  stones.  I love that the family can look at the front and know "we did this together!"  Family work projects are the best.

Easter Joy

Easter was so wonderful.  We had 3 fabulous days with daddy and loved every minute of it.  Friday we work our tails off outside.  I love when we work together as a family.  Saturday the kids got their Easter baskets.  We went out to my parents place on 10 acres and went swimming, egg hunting, rode the 3-wheeler, played with air-soft guns, saw cousins, ate yummy food, and soaked up the sun.  They day was gorgeous.  Before we went to my parents house we sold grandpa's bunnies.  We started out with 13 fuzzy little things.  When it got down to one we just couldn't resist and took him home for us.  We named him Jack.  But should it turn out to be girl we are going with Jill.  Every last child can't get enough of him.

Last week was very exciting for our little family.  Jeremy applied for a position at work that would be a promotion about 2 months ago.  He had his interview and we have been waiting to hear.   Wednesday he was offered the position.  I am really proud of Jeremy and his hard work for our family.  He is a wonderful provider and money manager.  I have always know he would continue to progress at work with his abilities. He is a wonderful people person and really knows how to work with people and do the job efficiently.  I am really proud of him and who he is as a provider, father, and husband.  I love you Jeremy!
