What a week!!

I am so glad today is Friday! This week has been so busy. Today is my day to do NOTHING! Ok, I am doing laundry, but only because we are running out of underwear!
Yesterday was my OB appointment. It is always so nice to hear the heartbeat. Next month I will get a sonogram done. And we are NOT finding out the sex of the baby. I am excited for a surprise.
I also went VT yesterday and one of the sister I see has the cutest online boutique. Her stuff is REALLY affordable. You've got to check it out. She does some really cute things. Tons of stuff! I bought the headbands and hats and I make my own flower clips to go with them. You will love it! Having daughters is sooo much fun! Plus some cute baby boy pants. Fisher looks so cute!

Check it out and let me know what you think!

a walk

I just love Fall. Today was such a wonderful day outside. Carlee's friend invited her over after school, so I decided to take the kids on walk to take her there. Fisher rode in the stroller enjoying every minute. He watched Hunter ride his scooter and Savanna run far ahead and then walk back to us. She would run and laugh the whole time. I had to chuckle when I noticed her pants were on backwards. This is very typical of Savanna. Her white hair was a wild mess blowing in the wind. But her smile was priceless. Our neighborhood is very quiet. I could hear the birds which was very enjoyable. It was a special time for those few short minutes. Those are the moments that make all my work worth each effort.

Funny Little Girl

Every morning my friend Megan and I walk for about an hour. Well, this morning was really crazy around the house before the kids left. We got up late and didn't have time to do any cleaning before they left. So when I left to go walking breakfast was still on the table and the floor covered in stuff.
When we walk in the door to come home Savanna says
"Oh my word, this house is a mess!"
Like it was some kind of surprise. It was so cute how she said it. She has such a cute personality. I am going to try to post the cute things my kids say so I can remember to tell there kids!

Number 6 & Grateful for the noise

This is my first post about the baby. Not that I am not excited, but I just haven't really been in the blogging mood! I am really excited for the baby! I have been able to see the baby twice and seen the heart beat. That is always nice to have that reassurance. My feelings are that it is a Boy. But that many be because it would be the next in line being we have 3 girls and 2 boys. So I am not sure. But we've decided to not find out this time. This will be our last baby, and I do want one surprise! I really think it will be special to find out at the birth. Knowing this will be our last seems sad to me. But at the same time I am excited for the next faze of our life. Carlee is 9 and really getting older. It is fun to see her grow and mature. I really wish I would have had the same outlook I have now when the the girls were little. I don't feel I enjoyed each little moment like I am now. I was busy worrying TOO much about a clean house and being a SUPER MOM. Now my house is mostly a mess all day, the kitchen is well used, and the bathroom floors are usually a mess. But we have fun. We play and cook. We clean and play. But I've learn tomorrow will come, but they will grow each day.
I am so grateful for families. Grateful for Heavenly Father's plan of families. That all the work, tears, laughs, joys, trials, struggles, knowledge, will all be used in the Eternities with our family. It makes it all worth it. Knowing these children are only on loan, and that they belonged to our Father in Heaven first, and that we're here to help them return to Him, makes me rethink some of my parenting ways. I am so grateful that we are able to bring children into our home so easily. For some it is not so easy. My heart aches for them. There is NO other joy in the world like children. When I am away from them I miss them. I enjoy the quit, but am so grateful the noise will be there when I get home. This life is hard, but I am so glad I've gotten the chance to be here!

Happy Anniversary Jeremy!

This day 10 years ago Jeremy and I were married in the Mesa Arizona Temple. What a special day it was. If you can believe it, while we were taking our pictures outside before the wedding we were sweating it was so hot! It is hard to remember most of it due to all the excitement. But one thing I will never forget was right before we were to leave my aunts house and go to the temple Jeremy come up to me and he had eaten oreos for breakfast and his teeth were full of cookies. Now I laugh, then I cried! He was so easy going, me, I was a stress case. Two opposites came together that day. And after 10 years, we have learned to love those things about each other. At first we both wanted to change them. Now we realize they help compliment each other.

{In 10 years we have accomplished a lot together}

Jeremy completed his Bachelors Degree

Moved 4 times

Was offered a great job

We bought and old home and fixed it up

Were lucky enough to sell that home and build a new home

Blessed with 5 healthy sweet children in our home, with number 6 on the way!

Learned a ton through the many trials of life, which will only

help prepare us for the many more to come

No gray hair yet!!

Looking forward to the next 10 years!

Even though life has been hard it has been worth it. I don't think we would be the same people if we hadn't had the trials in our lives. We look at things differently and are better able to help other and have compassion. I am so grateful for eternal families, and the knowledge that all this work will not be for nothing. We will end up together with our families and our Heavenly Father if we continue to endure things faithfully. I thought I loved Jeremy 10 years ago, but I had no idea what love really was. Love has a whole new meaning for me now.

I love you Jeremy!

Happy Anniversary Sweetie!

The Door to True Happiness

“The gospel of Jesus Christ has the answers to all of our problems. The gospel is not a secret. It is not complicated or hidden. It can unlock the door to true happiness. It is not someone’s theory or proposition. It does not come from man at all. It springs from the pure and everlasting waters of the Creator of the universe, who knows truths we cannot even begin to comprehend. And with that knowledge, He has given us the gospel—a divine gift, the ultimate formula for happiness and success.”
Dieter F. Uchtdorf,
This was my happy thought for today!

Halloween 2009

We had a wonderful Halloween this year. We went to the Trunker Treat and had tons of fun with Grandma Saline. Then we met Jeremy back at home and walked through our neighborhood. Too much candy for sure, but the kids had a blast and the costumes were super cute! And as a special treat this year, we has Alice with us. She came with her dad and brothers who came down from Vernon to go scouting for a deer hunt next weekend.
